According to Mining News Pro - Vancouver-based ML Gold is seeing stars – namely the copper variety – at its Stars project 60 km southwest of Houston. Hole 10 returned 405.4 metres that assayed 0.26% copper equivalent, including 189.0 metres of 0.33%, 24.4 metres of 0.32%, 79.3 metres of 0.40%, and 30.5 metres of 0.50%.

Hole 10 was drilled to a depth of 490 metres and ended in mineralization. The mineralization is characterized by variably silicified and potassic altered feldspar porphyry intrusions containing coarse and fine grained disseminations of chalcopyrite, in a steeply dipping zone.

Hole 10 is also the first to intersect the new mineralized feldspar porphyry intrusion on the property.

ML Gold says the Stars property is on a low elevation with gentle topography and accessible by all season roads. The property is located within 60 km of both the suspended Equity silver mine and Huckleberry copper mine, meaning it is in prime territory for an economic mine. The company says the mineralization and alteration are consistent with those at the Huckleberry mine.
