Mining News Agency - The price of iron ore 62% Fe significantly rose on December 18th. The price from CFR China (TSI) was US$71.41/ton, up by 2.74% of US$1.86/ton; that from China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was US$70.34/ton, up by 4.8% of US$3.22/ton; that from Platts was US$74.5/ton, up by 4.27% of US$3.05/ton.
Mining News - The coal price from the Singapore Exchange (SGX) rose by US$1/ton and that from the Australian Exchange increased by US$2/ton. The current coal price settled at US$234~235/ton.
Due to the rise of iron ore and coal price, the average cost of hot rolled steel products hiked to around US$490/ton.
