Global production of alumina has dropped by one percent in March, while the daily production of alumina in March has not changed much compared to the previous month, February. The daily production of alumina in February this year was reported as 369.2 thousand tons. The two main producers of alumina in the world, including China and Oceania, produced 6.590 million tons and 1.523 million tons of alumina in March of this year, respectively. In March of this year, China increased its annual production, while the production in Oceania decreased from 1.724 million tons to 1.523 million tons, and therefore it can be said that Oceania faced an annual decrease in alumina production.
