Mining News Pro - GolGohar Company produce a total of 33 percent of concentrate and 25 percent of pellet in Iran.
According to Mining News Pro - GolGohar Company produce a total of 33 percent of concentrate and 25 percent of pellet in Iran. However, the share of Golgohar region in the country's production in the concentrate and pellet sector is 43 and 33 percent respectively. Therefore, this company provides a major part of Iran’s concentrate and pellets for steel factories.
The company plays an irreplaceable role in supplying the country's steel supply chain.
“This volume of production requires the supply of at least 28 million tons of crude iron ore. We have to meet about 70% of our needs from the free market,” said Shahmoradi, commercial deputy at GolGohar Company.
He believes that the exploration and extraction of iron ore requires large investments and time and unfortunately in recent years this area has been neglected.
