Mining News Pro - Position Partners has strengthened its supply of laser positioning and levelling equipment after acquiring Australian-based company Imex.
Zoom:
Imex brings will provide specialised laser measurement technology to Position Partners under the acquisition.
Position Partners CEO, Martin Nix said the acquisition brings tools that can be adapted by labourers.
“The addition of Imex to our solution portfolio means more options for our customers, with a laser level, or complementary measurement tool to suit every task and budget,” he said.
“And, with outlets throughout Australia, as well as New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, these essential construction tools are locally supported and readily available in convenient locations.”
Founder and director of Imex Calvin Sanderson said the deal will please not only Imex customers but the wider industry as a whole.
“Joining with Position Partners and sharing our industry knowledge and resources will benefit customers and the industry,” he said.
“That said, it is still ‘business as usual’ for our customers.”
The Imex acquisition follows Position Partners’ roll out last February of the FC-6000 survey tablet from Topcon Positioning Group.
Imex will join industry leading brands such as Topcon and aLine under the Position Partners umbrella.
