Golden Statue for Iron ore complex Sangan

Minister of Industry, Mining and Commerce Mohammad Sharitamadari, thanked the Governor of the Sangan Mining and Mining Complex, Morteza Hashempour, on the golden statue of the National Iranian Industry and Mine Day, who appreciated the efforts made at the complex.

This complex was also recognized as the premier metallic and non-metallic mineral industry" in 2017 at the same time as the selection criteria selection criteria.

Sangan complex as the capital of iron ore processing in Iran, after the second half of 2013, simultaneously with the presence of Mehdi Karbassian as the chairman of the IMIDRO Executive Board, has activated semi-finished or stagnant iron ore processing projects.


Concentrated iron ore and iron ore projects began to be activated after that date, based on IMIDRO `s strategy of engaging private sector partnerships. Last year, 2 pelletizing factories each with a capacity of 5 million tons and a 2.5 million ton iron ore concentrate plant in Sangan entered the circuit. IMIDRO simultaneously implements the above strategy for other projects such as provincial steels, on Mehdi Abad, iron ore processing units, and others.
