Mining News Agency -According to the monthly comments released by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), US coal production in 2017 was around 786 million short tons, which was equivalent to 715 million tons, increasing by 7.9% compared with the same period of last year.
Mining News -As for the exports, US exported around 95 million short tons of coal in 2017, which was equivalent to 86.36 million tons, rising by 58% or 34.73 million short tons.
