Mining News Agency - According to report, China’s steel demand turned weak due to cold weather with snow as the trade was supposed to pick up for the first week of the year.
Mining News - Also, due to the snowing weather in Northern regions, stockpiles at the ports increased and some ports are closed since January 3rd.
The HRC traded around 200~300 tons last week and venders’ shipments are stopped on weather. HRC price might down a little bit. For rebars, the trade was limited and price could continue to go down.
The delivery of coking coal was also affected by snow. The price for coking coal might go up for short period.
