Mining News Agency - According to the latest data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), global copper supply surplus of 20,000 tons in the first 9 months of this year; the primary aluminum supply gap continued to extend, from supply shortage of 770,000 tons in 2016 to 1.463 million tons in the previous September.
Mining News - Global copper mines produced 15.05 million tons in January-September, down by 0.5% compared with the same period of last year. In January-September, global refined copper production was 17.64 million tons, up by 1.3% compared with the same period of last year.
