“The main mission and mission of the mineral processing unit of Mobarakeh Steel Company is currently converting iron ore into the concentrate and conducting studies and leading the research of mineral processing required by the group which leads to suitable and cost-effective processing methods for all types of ferrous and non-ferrous deposits,” said Mohammad Ravanfar, mineral processing director of MSC.

“The difference between this development and the previous ones is that this one is especially focused on the extraction of iron concentrate, low-grade iron, the recovery of waste from the current processing lines of Sangan Steel and the reabsorption of its iron, as well as other non-conventional sources of iron. Also, in addition to the sustainable supply of 2 million tons of concentrate, it will become a great technological achievement of Mobarakeh Steel Group in terms of studying and applying new methods of mineral processing. Also, the renovation of the Sangan pellet factory and the increase of its production capacity from 5 to 7.5 million tons are on the joint agenda of the Ministry of Mining and the Sangan Steel Company, and the project will be implemented as soon as the design engineering process is completed.” he added.
