Ali Akbar Rajaei, pointing out that the sewage treatment plant of Zob Ahan Isfahan is located in the eastern part of the factory and in an area of approximately 5 hectares, said: “Considering the problems of water shortage in Isfahan province and in order to reduce the withdrawal of water from the Zayandeh River and prevent industrial and sanitary effluents from entering the lagoons and supply industrial and demining water needed by the factory, the environmental plan for the transfer and treatment of wastewater in the cities of Foolad Shahr, Zarin Shahr and iron smelting sites under the title of sanitary wastewater with a capacity of 550 cubic meters per hour and the industrial effluent of the factory with a capacity of 300 cubic meters per hour have been sent to the treatment plant of this project.”
