Ali Rostami, CEO of National Iranian Copper Industries Company said that there have been remarkable records in copper cathode, copper concentrate, and sulfuric acid production in the first month of this new year.
“26,673 tons of copper production in Farvardin (first month of Persian calendar) shows a 9 percent jump in production rate,” he added.
Rostami announced the amount of cathode production in April of this year as 25,145 tons and added: “The amount of cathode production last year was 24,615 tons, which this year has been accompanied by a growth of 4% compared to the plan.”
The CEO of the National Copper Company further pointed to the 10 percent growth in the production of copper concentrate and the 35 percent jump in sulfuric acid production.
