According to Mining News Pro - CEO of HOSCO mentioned the good performance of the company in slab and DRI production in the first three months of this year.
“After monthly record of DRI production in May, we had 22 percent increase in slab production and 16 percent of DRI production jump in the first 3 months,” said the Ataollah Maroufkhani, chief executive of Hormozgan Steel Company.
He also mentioned the growth of sales in domestic and export markets and claimed that it had 14 percent of growth.
“This record has been set while Hormozgan Steel is facing power supply problems in spring and summer,” Maroufkhani added.
