RPMGlobal enhances scheduling experience with XPAC Solutions 3.0

The release of XPAC Solutions 3.0 aims to enhance the technology’s architecture and functionality.

The introduction of the Workspaces feature, for example, will enable users to manage the different components required for a scheduling cycle much more easily.

The Workspace Explorer also makes it convenient for mine planners to check the status of every model in the workspace. The process is automated and streamlined so end-users can collaborate and work on the single source of truth.

Multiple users can also share the datasets across the entire enterprise, while identifying what’s been checked out and by whom in real time.

RPMGlobal stated the ability to share scheduling models and all their input data across an entire workforce makes it far more convenient to collaborate on projects, while also providing tremendous flexibility when team members are working remotely.

RPMGlobal chief technology officer Paul Beesley described the launch of XPAC Solutions 3.0 as the biggest change to the company’s scheduling solutions since their introduction.

“XPAC Solutions 3.0 expands the breadth and depth of the tool’s functionality and provides a level of sophistication that is unmatched on the market today,” he said.

The latest upgrade also comes equipped with an improved user interface that gives mine planners more capabilities than ever before.
