27% increase in production in Kaveh Steel South Kish / Export increased by 5% to over 340 thousand tons

According to Mining News Pro - In the first six months of 2017, the plant produced more than 373 thousand tons of oil, and in the same period of 2017, the factory grew to more than 476 thousand tons, up 27.7 per cent.

According to the report, Kaveh Steel Company, South Kish, has two direct reclamation factories, which has managed to produce more than 7 million and 889 thousand tons of iron ore since the beginning of production.

During the first six months of 2017, these factories managed to produce more than 675,000 tons of iron ore, and in the first six months of 2017 it grew by 11.4 percent, producing more than 752,000 tons.

The company`s industrial gases plant also began its production in June 2017, and since its inception, more than 70 million cubic meters of oxygen, 15.7 million cubic meters of nitrogen and more than 591 thousand cubic meters of argon has been produced to operate in steelmaking.

According to the report, using the steel-making phase of the company in the second half of 2019, the steel production capacity of the company will reach 2,400,000 tons annually.

With regard to the export position of this complex, it is expected that in the year 2020, the company`s production and exports will grow dramatically.

It should be noted that the South Kaveh Steel in the first six months of 2017 will ship more than 331 thousand tons of export products to the world markets and in the same period of 2018, the company`s exports grew by 5.24 percent to over 348 thousand tons.
