Mining News Pro - Managing Director of Alumina Iran announced the "Jajarm Aluminum" project from the beginning of Lingering. According to Turaj Zare, the operation is the most important part of the installation of boilers that was launched late last week
Managing director of Aluminum Company of Iran said: Already, the progress of Aluminum project has reached 90% border, and the last stage of project activities, Linging boilers is ongoing.
He stated that the firefighting operation was carried out during the Linging phase, hoping: this work will be completed within the next three months and the project will be ready to be launched.
Zare said that the project has already spent 74 million euros and more than 1,300 billion rials in the project, adding that the project will be planned in three phases and will ultimately increase to 120 thousand tons.
He added: "In the first phase, a large part of the infrastructure investment of 120,000 tons was carried out, and with the launch of phase one, the remaining remaining phases would be put into operation more quickly."
Zare said about the challenges of the project in recent years: The Jajarm aluminum ingot project started with an investment of € 94 million and 1,600 billion rials since 2007, but for some reason, such as the lack of clarity on how to fund the implementation of the project, the assignment for rejection and Managing and detecting violations of some of the company`s executives from the beginning of the operation until the end of 1393 (over 7 years) had only 45% physical progress.
He emphasized that after the company`s return, the transfer and focus of the company were significantly changed in different parts of the company. With the plans, the financing of the company`s internal resources and financial assistance through the aluminum and alumina ingots of the Chinese company`s contractor (nfc) increased the speed of the project`s progress.
Zare noted that the company`s other challenges were lack of bauxite feed. Fortunately, with the coordination of the company`s managers and the supervision of the exploration of Imidra, the company`s discoveries have been remarkable over the last two or three years and the company`s annual exploratory drilling has been 10 times higher than before It has come.
He emphasized that the result of that operation is twofold increase in the country`s definitive reserves of bauxite and Alumina.
