Mining News Agency -According to the statistics from Brazil Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), Brazil exported around 13.3 million tons of iron ore to China in April, up by 1.7% year on year, accounting for 51% of the total exports.
Mining News -The export value to China was around US$725.9 million, down by 14.8% from US$852.6 million in the same period last year.
In the same period, Brazilian iron ore exports to Japan totaled around 2.4 million tons, increasing by 52.4% compared to the same month a year ago. The export value was around US$149.3 million, a year-on-year rise of 28%.
