Mining News Agency- According to the report, Shanghai Metal Market’s aluminum spot market saw active in trades, especially in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Wuxi on May 3rd. The buyers would like to stock more aluminum on tight supply.
Mining News - The transaction price was around RMB 14400 to RMB 14410 per ton. However, the trades are mostly from traders instead of downstream buyers due to their low demand.
But trades in two regions of South China was relatively slow because of more supply. And price in May was around RMB 14440 to 14450 per ton. Overall, the price for these two regions are both going up for average A00 aluminum ingot.
Today’s price continues to rise further. Price is expected to be closed around RMB 14430~ RMB 14470 per ton with spot discounts at RMB 70 to RMB 30 per ton.
