It`s reported that Indian National Aluminium Company (Nalco) and Canadian firm Almex has talked to establish a joint venture in India.
Mining News Agency -The company planned to build an automotive aluminum production plant in the Anukul Aluminum Park in Orissa, India, with an investment of approximately 25 billion rupees.
Mining News -The annual production capacity is expected to reach 60,000 tons, providing a stable source for India`s aluminum industry downstream supply. The joint venture will concentrate on the production of automotive aluminum and special alloys in the aviation industry.
Indian Nalco will have a majority share in the joint venture.
