Brazilian pig iron exports decrease in Dec 2017 y-o-y
Mining News Agency -According to the trade statistics, Brazilian pig iron exports totaled around 146,000 tons in December 2017, down by 31.1% year on year.

Mining News -In 2017, the total exports were around 2.3 million tons, up by 4.8% from the same period of last year. The average monthly exports were around 190,000 tons.

Among them, the United States ranked first with the largest Brazilian pig iron exports of around 1 million tons, up by 26.9% from the same period a year ago, accounting for 44.1% of the total exports; the Netherlands ranked second of around 340,000 tons, down by 11.5% from the same period a year earlier, accounting for 15.1% of the total; Italy ranked third of around 260,000 tons, up by 233.4% from the same period in 2016, accounting for 11.9% of the total.
