Mining News Agency -According to the report, due to the US dollar index dropped these days, the international metal price went up. LME copper price rose over USD$7,000/ton over night from decline.
Mining News -The strike on copper mines and growing economy kept supporting the price up.
In additional, copper price also rose on Shanghai Future Exchange to around RMB 53,000/ton.
However, due to Chinese New Year holidays coming, copper price might not go up further. The analysts thought the weakness of US dollar would keep the copper prices up and down in a small range.
