Mining News Agency -According to the statistics released by Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA), the exports of Iranian slab totaled around 2 million tons in the first 9 months in 2017 (as of December 21st), up by 134% compared with the same period of last year.
Mining News -In this period, Iranian square billet exports increased by 52% to around 2.6 million tons. However, Iranian finished steel exports dropped by 29% to around 1.6 million tons in the period. Among them, the exports of cold rolled coil were only 8,000 tons, which was the largest decline.
Meanwhile, Iranian finished steel imports decreased by 38% to around 1.7 million tons year on year.
