17 Percent Jump in HOSCO’s Slab Production

It’s good days for Hormozgan Steel Company’s slab sales rate and seems to have a good outlook for the end of this year.

The average price per ton of this product has reached 278$ in July, which has been increased by 17 percent compared to June.

Therefor, total revenue of the company in the last month (Tir) was $28.9 million the total revenue in the first four months of Persian year is $102.5 million which increased compared to the same period last year, by 25 percent.

In the same four months, domestic sales rate is 423,000 tons but last year the number was 490,000 tons.

HOSCO is expected to sell about 1.35 million tons of slabs this year.

Also, due to the continuing growing trend of steel products because of exchange rates rise, the company`s profitability is expected to increase in the coming months.
