Mining News Pro - The country's mining sector is far behind in terms of mineral exploration and the bureaucracy, lack of up-to-date knowledge and lack of necessary hardware have caused Iran to lag behind in the field of mineral exploration.
“The country's mining sector is far behind in terms of mineral exploration and the bureaucracy, lack of up-to-date knowledge and lack of necessary hardware have caused Iran to lag behind in the field of mineral exploration,” said Naser Taghizadeh, the chief executive of Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.
He believes that up-to-date knowledge in the field of mineral exploration and geology, the use of new hardware and equipment can further strengthen the development of mines in Iran.
“We didn’t do anything remarkable in the field of mining exploration and yet we are using 2005 machineries. We can reduce the costs by 60 to 70 percent by using new equipments,” he emphasized.
At the end Taghizadeh said that creating a major export wharf is a good idea for facilitating the accessibility of Iran’s steel market to global market
