Mining News Pro - A member of the chairman of the board in Esfahan Steel Co. said that this company is the only producer of rails in Iran and tries to fulfill the duties.
According to Mining News Pro - Morteza Yazdkhasti, a member of the chairman of the board in ESCO, mentioned that this company is the one and only producer of national rail in Iran.
“The development of rail network lines has always been one of the challenges in the development of the steel industry. In this year’s Steel Symposium also we mentioned this issue and the problems which this industry is facing”, he said.
“The volume of railways is currently 14 thousand and 500 square kilometers according to Iran’s comprehensive steel plan,” Yazdkhasti added.
According to Yazdkhasti, the share of steel industries in the development of railway network lines is about 3,780 square kilometers, which must be done in the remaining time.
