Mining News Pro - Iran’s mineral production cycle is going to be completed by inaugurating 5 major national mineral projects by Midhco.
According to Mining News Pro - Iran’s mineral production cycle is going to be completed by inaugurating 5 major national mineral projects by Midhco including Iranian Zarand Steel with the capacity of producing 1.7 million steel ingots, Shahr-e Babak Copper Cathode project with 50 thousand tons of production capacity, Lime and dolomite production complex with 400,000 tons per year, and etc.
The president Hassan Rouhani inaugurated these projects via a virtual conference call.
In the beginning of this meeting, the minister said that steel blast furnace project is one of the most important ones in the country that will be inaugurated in Kerman province. This is while most Iranian steelmakers use direct reduced method for steelmaking.
Majid Ghasemi, chairman of the board of Midhco said: The activities of this group are in line with government policies and in order to implement the general policies of the resistive economy.”
