Mining News Pro - New record of DRI production in MSC after 4 years.
According to Mining News Pro - Amin Ebrahimi, chief executive of Khuzestan Steel Company, said that this company produced 77365 tons of DRI during the first two months of this (Persian) year in 2 DRI units.
“After 4 years, our company set a new record of DRI production that is a great hope. The last record of sponge iron production of this unit was 76399 tons,” he added.
“In the next four years, KSC’s share of 55 million tons of steel ingots is 25% as expected. By defining and promoting development projects in the upstream and downstream value chain, in 2025, we will try to fulfill this role,” he explained.
