According to Mining News Pro - Mohammadreza Yazdanpanah, maintenance director of engineering and workshops of ESCO claims that more than 85 percent of ESCO’s equipment are localized.
“As the first steel production unit in Iran, Esfahan Steel Company was always prioritized the localization of parts and equipment. Training thousands of expert and executive staff at various levels, theoretical and practical training of new personnel, starting and implementing overhaul and reconstruction projects and etc. are the basics of localization culture,” he said.
He believes that ESCO plays an important role in Iran’s industrial development, therefore this company has always been able to take steps to meet domestic needs, as well as gain a significant share of export markets.
Yazdanpanah said that today about 85% of the parts and equipment are produced in Iran and it is possible to localize the rest of them gaining technological knowledge.
