ESCO’s good performance in non-oil exports

According to Mining News Pro - Chief executive of Esfahan Steel Company said that if there is no problem in raw material supply, we are able to reach 3.5 million tons of steel production this year.

“Although there is an economic war in the country with obstacles, our company was able to shine in the field of non-oil exports and return of exchange resources,” Mansour Yazdizade said.

“The main problem of Esfahan Steel is the supply of raw materials. If we receive the raw material in sufficient quantity, we can increase our capacity to three and a half million tons of steel production annually,” he added.

Yazdizade also said that Esfahan Steel Co. is the first large industrial complex in Iran which has developed a comprehensive environmental plan in cooperation with other institutions and is implementing this plan.

“Due to the problems in raw material supply, we intend to form a committee to analyze and solve this problem. This could solve all of our problems,” he said.
