ESCO and Mining Industry Interactions for Production Jump
Mining News Pro - CEO and Chairman of the Board of Esfahan Steel Company gathered in a meeting with other managers of this company for bartering raw materials with products on the verge of restarting blast furnace no.1.
  Zoom:

“The major challenge of our company is the lack of stable raw materials and this has caused ESCO not to be able to produce at full capacity,” said Mansour Yazdizadeh, CEO of Esfahan Steel Co.

“Blast furnace No.1 is unfortunately unavailable since 2015, but now it’s going to be activated again. This is the result of out staff’s hard work,” he added.

Ali Ahmadian, chairman of the board of ESCO believes that with more than half a century of experience in the steel industry, ESCO has good potentials with specialized human power for increasing the production.

“Interaction of ESCO with mining industry generally follows two targets: Collective efforts for steelmaking in Iran especially in the time of sanctions and production jump. This means replacing final products instead of raw material exports,” Ahmadian said.

It must be mentioned that officials of Iran’s mining sector discussed about the interactions between mining sector and ESCO. Also they visited blast furnace no.1 at the end of the meeting.
