Mining News Agency -The chairman of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) pointed out that because the demand for steel in China has gradually declined, more old steel mills would be shut down.
Mining News -The CISA planned to reduce the crude steel production capacity to below 1 billion by 2025. The CISA also pointed out that the current cumulative total of 120 million tons of excess steel production capacity has been dissolved, and they intended to reduce the steel production capacity of 30 million tons to maintain capacity utilization at 80% this year.
