Iranian Mobarakeh Steel Co.’s crude steel production rises in FY17-18

Mining News Agency -Mobarakeh Steel Company, one of the steel manufacturers in Iran, announced that its crude steel production in the fiscal year 2017-2018 reached around 6.5 million tons, up by 14% year on year, which was higher than the estimated production of 6.2 million tons.

Mining News -In the fiscal year 2017-2018, the company`s steel shipments totaled around 7.03 million tons, up by 12% compared to the same period a year ago. Among them, 82% were sold in the local market and 18% were exported.
