Oxin Steel Co. produces domestic API domestic steel sheets

According to Mining News Pro Chief executive of Oxin Steel Company said that Oxin Steel was able to increase the production tonnage of API steel sheets and gained a good trend.

Khouzestan Oxin Steel Company is one of the steel industry producers that make steel sheets. In the past few years, by structural and management reforms the company defined new strategies and gained remarkable successes.

Amin Ebrahimi, chief executive of Oxin Steel says that in the first six months of this year, they were able to increase the production tonnage and gain an increasing trend in producing API steel sheets.

“Last year we produced 720 thousand tons of production despite our 700 thousand tons nominal capacity. This is a record for Oxin steel during the past ten years,” said Ebrahimi.

“Since the company managed to enter the field of export, to supply about 51,000 tons of steel sheets worth 21 million euros last year, tt can be concluded that the company`s products have good competitive power in addition to domestic in export markets and also in domestic matket,” he added.

Despite the sanctions, Oxin Steel is producing three different grades of steel sheets by relying on domestic knowledge and power.
