Two mining companies to be privatized in Iran
Mining News Agency - ranian Privatization Organization plans to take major shares of two local mining companies on November 27, according to local sources.

Mining News - The deal implies the sale of 67.92% stake in Iran Central Iron Ore Company ($999.8 million total value) and a 99.85% share in Kerman Coal Mines Company, which today are controlled by a governmental institution.

According to Metal Expert estimates, the privatization is mostly aimed at improving the financial state of the named entities, especially considering the persisting problems with governmental financing of the mining operations in Iran.
