Mining News Pro - Along with sustainable development plan in Iran, NICICO intends to increase its copper concentrate capacity by 130 thousand tons by utilization of Daralou concentrate plant.
Ardeshir Sadmohammadi, CEO of National Iranian Copper Industries Company says that opening Daralou concentrate plant is for sustainable extraction of 7 million tons of copper sulfide ore and adding 130 thousand tons to copper concentrate capacity of this company.
“Currently, most of the equipment and machinery required for this project have been purchased and installed. According to the plan, the project is ready by next year,” he explained.
“The amount of investment is around 98.2 million euros,” Sadmohammadi said.
This project is placed in Kerman, Iran and its target is sustainable extraction of 7 million tons of copper sulfide ore and adding 130 thousand tons to copper concentrate capacity of NICICO.
