Mining News Pro - CEO of IMPASCO, Director of Organization of Geology and Mineral Exploration and governor of Sistan Balochestan signed a memorandum of understanding during a meeting in order to expand gold exploration.
In this meeting with the presence of Hosein Modarres Khiabani, Mininster of industry, mine and trade a tripartite contract has been inked between IMPASCO, Organization of Geology and Mineral Exploration and governor of Sistan Balochestan province in order to synergize the power of the two organizations.
This memorandum of understanding includes mining exploration and providing an investment platform in the gold zone of Sistan-Balochestan.
Vajihollah Jafari, CEO of IMPASCO said that with financial support of our company and specialized capacities of Iran’s Geological Survey we are able to expand mining operations in Sistan-Balochestan.
“Iranian Mineral Production and Supply Company has done about 16km of exploration in Makraan’s evaporative salt zone, in Sistan Balouchestan. 940km of this zone has exploratory potential and we are looking for its license,” he added.
“We will finish these mining operations by the end of this Persian year. These operations could transform the province,” Jafari said.
