The FIT stations and foresight stations are designed to deliver high levels of productivity and efficiency and cater for specific mining environments.

For a combination of speed and flexibility, Metso’s FIT stations are available in both recrushing station and jaw station variants, and include a steel structure that is designed to be broken down into containers for transportation to reduce the need for on-site welding.

As the industry moves more toward remote operations, Metso’s Foresight stations are fitted with a selection of Metso’s smart automation technology to optimise crusher speeds and production along with preventative maintenance.

“We have the experience in delivering crushing and screening plants with over one hundred installations globally,” Metso vice president of crushing systems Guillaume Lambert said.

“We also understand the needs of customers today in the evolving industry. That is why we are using our legacy and expertise to introduce these modularised crushing stations that focus on CAPEX reduction and shorter lead times.”

Metso has delivered over 100 completed mining and screening plants and has an extensive portfolio of options for customers.
