Mining News Pro - Deputy operator at Hormozgan Steel Company: “Despite the current problems and coronavirus pandemic, HOSCO is keeping up the production as same as before.”
According to Mining News Pro - Asghar Madani, deputy operator at Hormozgan Steel Company (HOSCO) said that they will have a tough year ahead.
“We are at the economy’s frontline now and our duty is to do our best. Although, workers’ health is our first priority in this process and by the order of our CEO in the coronavirus prevention committee, we have certain measures in order to prevent the workforce to be affected by covid-19 such as: remote working of headquarter section, providing health packages for production staff, daily disinfection of different parts of the company, fever measurement, and physician supervision.”
He explained that last year HOSCO took and important step by increasing slab production by 1.3%.
