230 Thousand Tons of Export Sales for HOSCO

According to Mining News Pro - Farzad Arzani, CEO of Hormozgan Steel Company (HOSCO) explained the company’s activity: “In the first four month of the year (Solar year) our company produced 495 thousand tons of slab. More than 218 thousand tons has been sold in the domestic market and 230 thousand tons in the export market.

During this period, 82 percent growth in sales and 38 percent decline in exports are remarkable.

He explained about the purchase of Saba Steel Company’s stock: “One month ago, with the cooperation of IMIDRO a Memorandum of Understanding has been inked between Saba Steel Co, MadKoosh Co,

HOSCO and GolGohar. Currently, it is in its administrative stages of being executed.”

“The agreement aims to establish a new company producing 10 million tons of steel out of planned 55 million tons", he said.
