Mining News Pro - Mobarakeh Steel Company’s production of cold-formed Steel has reached a new level and they established a new record.
According to Mining News Pro - Manager of cold-formed steel (CFS) sector said: “In the first two months of this year, we produced 274 thousand tons of CFS, which grew by 11 percent compared with the same period last year.
Seyed Mehdi Naghavi, also said that the company produced 70 thousand tons of coated steel products more than the same period last year. This means a four percent growth.
He believes that increasing the production speed, improved production planning and shipping are the most important factors.
“Automakers, household appliances manufacturers, filter makers, barrel producers, and other related industries are main customers of CFS”, he said.
“Due to the advantage of domestic product prices compared to foreign commodities, we intend to decrease the imports of cold-formed steel and take advantage of our full capacity to supply the demands of domestic customers.
