According to Mining News Pro -According to a statement by the Association of Steel Exporters, Turkey`s steel exports increased between January and October, with exports up 15.5 percent to 16.8 million tons.

During this period, the average price of steel in Turkey was 17 percent and reached 740 dollars per ton.

The average price per ton in October rose 0.4 percent to $ 689 a year earlier, compared to October of the previous year.

Since the beginning of the year, Turkey`s steel exports have been steadily increasing, with exports rising 46.9 percent in October and 46.3 percent in terms of volumes.

In October, Turkic steel exports totaled 2.2 million metric tons worth 1.49 billion dollars.

In the first 10 months of the year, most exports were made to flat and wire sections, while the largest reduction was due to alloying of slabs.

Turkey recently traveled to Colombia for export to Latin America.
