Mining News Pro - Imported offers of HRC to Vietnam from China move down owing to weak buying interest among end users in Vietnam and lower offers from Turkish mills. Last week Chinese mills had raised HRC offers in line with higher domestic prices. However weak buying interest has kept offers under pressure.

Meanwhile Vietnam’s domestic steel mill- Formosa is also offering HRC (skin pass) at USD 602/MT CFR basis which remain competitive over imported offers.
Current HRC trade offers to Vietnam - Week 35, 2018
1.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer - Benxi Iron & Steel mill at USD 595/MT,CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers stood at USD 615/MT CFR basis.
2.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer - Rizhao Steel at USD 592/MT CFR Vietnam.Last week the offers stood at USD 610/MT CFR basis.
3.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Chinese offer -Angan Steel at USD 590/MT CFR Vietnam.
4.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Russian offer - MMK Steel Offer at USD 588-590/MT CFR basis.Last week the offers was in range of USD 585/MT CFR basis.
5.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Indian offer - two major mills Offer at USD 595/MT CFR basis.
6.HRC (SAE 1006) 2-3mm / Turkey offer - Erdimir Steel Offer at USD 580/MT CFR basis.
7.HRC (SS 400)/ Chinese offer- Baotou Steel Offer at USD 590/MT CFR basis.
