Reza Sharifi said: "After a long period of follow-up and negotiation, Sungun Varzaqan Copper Development Projects, including the construction and equipping of a smelting, refining and sulfuric acid plant, and subsidiary firms with investment, foreign investors, are operational and operational," said Reza Sharifi.
He said that the project is being implemented with the participation of Chinese investors, saying that more than 50 percent of the world`s copper is produced in China, which means that the Chinese have been technology-rich in this industry and have made significant progress. Accordingly, the most up-to-date technology available will have the lowest environmental pollution and the highest productivity.
Director of the Azerbaijani Copper Complex noted that foreign investors will only be responsible for designing and supplying the main facilities of the project, and overseeing the implementation and utilization of these projects will be left to domestic companies. Sharifi said that the investment company only imported the main equipment from the outside, said that the major part of the equipment used in the Sungun Varzaqan copper mine development projects would be built internally.
He said that the implementation of these plans will complete the copper production chain in the city and will begin with the start of a dramatic job creation in the region, Development and prosperity in the city of Varzaqan.
