Mining News Agency -Representatives from Sweden`s Volvo Group has offered a 200-million-euro cooperation model to Iran for supplying the country with mining machinery.
Mining News -Statistics suggest that Iran was the 21th and the 28th biggest importer of commodities from Sweden in 2003 and 2004 respectively.
Over the past few years, the imposition of sanctions on the Iranian economy has affected the trade exchanges between Iran and Sweden reducing it from $1.1 billion to $282 million.
However, Iran`s Saipa Diesle and Sweden`s Volvo Group have maintained strong relations and cooperation despite all the ups and downs over the past 30 years.
The experts believe that the main reason for this continuity is the high quality of Volvo products and their consistence with the Iranian climate.
