Mining News Agency -Coking coal price rises again.
Mining News -According to the report, the current mature coal prices were still high compared with the peak in the first quarter.
The main factors which supported the price standing high were high profitability of steel and limited supply of coking coal, as well as logistics restrictions in the United States and Australia.
If the steel market remained strong, coking coal prices were likely to continue to rise in 2018 and even 2019. Analysts point out, without government`s intervention, coal prices could also be flat or up until 2019.
