Mining News Agency -It is understood that National Iranian Steel Company (NISCO) has ordered a new square slab continuous casting machine from SMS Concast to be installed in the Miyaneh Steel plant.

Mining News -Miyaneh Steel has an annual output capacity of 800,000 tons, and it was adopted by Arc furnace technology of the square slab factory. Last October, the new plant started the production. This was one of Iran`s seventh direct reduction iron-electric arc furnace steel mills. The new convex caster would produce the 130-200 mm square slab of 6-12 meters long.
