According to Mining News Pro - Hormozgan Steel Company has announced two of its important development projects.

The projects are:
- A plan to increase the HOSCO’s slab production capacity from 1.5 million tons to 2 million tons.
- Construction of a wide hot rolled coil mill with a capacity of 1.2 million per year, according to initial plans.

The exploitation of production capacity will be implemented during 3 years (from 2021 to 2023), and the construction of a wide hot rolled coil mill will be in 2023.
