This compares with an average price of $1 687/ct achieved in the first half of last year and a price of $1 506/ct achieved in the second half of last year.
The latest tender was held in Antwerp under strict Covid-19 health and safety protocols. Sales included a 13 ct pink diamond at a price of $40 110/ct and a 61 ct white Type II diamond at a price of $31 400/ct.
The company’s small diamond tender has not closed yet.
