Vancouver-based Encanto Potash Corp. has named Richard Lively to the position of COO. He will oversee the design engineering and construction for the Muskowekwan project in Saskatchewan. Lively is a 31-year veteran of PotashCorp.

TheWeir Groupof Madison, Wisc., has completed its acquisition of Esco Corp. Current Esco president and CEO Jon Owens will continue to lead the business as it becomes a division of Weir.
